If you work with logs in any way, you know what it's like to have a good reliable winch. We have one on each truck, one attached to the mill for when we cannot get a loader close to it, and several around the yard for processing. When you are felling, there's nothing more comforting that provides a clear and safe escape passage than a winch. We use them to guide tree's down when felling and we use winches to move logs from one yard to another. They are one of the tools we use most. I even had Warn quick-connects installed in all of the trucks so when we are sawing in the woods without a loader, we can have unhindered access to juice the winch. Those logs are heavy but you wouldn't know it using the right tools!
